Dylan Furtado is a 2026 C/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Sparta, NJ who attends Sparta. Works from a medium frame with some physical upside. Primary catcher, starts in a slightly side saddled stance, gets out of the set fairly quickly, not much ground gained on the transfer, utilizes a shorter arm stroke, delivered accurate throws, projects well behind the dish, recorded arm strength up to 70 mph and a pop time of 2.25. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow base with a high back elbow and compact hand set, utilizes a leg lift trigger, has some strength in the hands, drifts to the front-side prior to launch, produced consistent contact to all parts of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.87 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
