Wyatt Sowell is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Sylvania, GA who attends Screven County. Taller, lean frame with a lot of time to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base with high hands in the stance, hanging leg lift trigger stride, worked hard to get the barrel inside the baseball and impact to the opposite field. Young bat speed and feel for the barrel. Primary outfielder, fields the baseball off to the side with step by step movements working to the ball, uphill release on throws with developing arm speed, was accurate around the bag and recorded throws up to 71 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, higher release point, hand gets on the side and produces natural cut on the fastball. Pounded the zone with a two pitch mix, showed ability to throw fastball to both sides and mixed in a bigger shaped curveball, up to 60 mph. Also worked out in the infield, slower movements getting to the spot, glove gets down late, long arm swing to an uphill release point, same arm strength that was seen in the outfield workout, recorded throws up to 68 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
