Brendan McCollum is a 2027 C/3B, OF with a 5-9 128 lb. frame from Bay Shore, NY who attends Bay Shore Senior. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.03 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, pops tall out of crouch and can continue to implement footwork and lower half into actions, consistently accurate throws to second base, arm strength and carry will continue to develop as lower half is added into release, receives the ball out front. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a tight hand set with a high back elbow in the box; utilizes a knee to knee timing trigger in swing. Contact oriented approach and shows some present feel for the barrel with swing, best when on a linear path, occasionally gets downward through the zone. Comfort working to pull side, will continue to develop with strength gains, handsy stroke. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
