Zachary Asiyanbi is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Kenwood Academy. Medium frame with slender, young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.66 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, heel lift to trigger with inconsistent timer, short handsy swing on inside-out path, stays through the middle with approach, will continue developing with strength gains. Worked out in the outfield, developing hand actions, shows some fluidity to footwork, clocked up to 76 mph on throws. Also pitched, worked from the stretch, high hands and leg kick, fastball worked 70-73 mph and stayed down in zone, slow curveball in the low-60's. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
