Zach Pelayo is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Slender build. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Primary outfielder, Showed the ability to make the routine plays, had a tendency to let the ball come working through the ball with slower actions. Was clocked up to 69 mph on throws from the outfield, flashed the ability to make accurate throws. Still developing the arm strength but will continue to develop as he gets older. From the mound, throws from the stretch, the fastball sat 67-68 mph paired with a 1-7 shaped curveball that sat 59 mph. At the plate, hits from a wide slightly open stance with a tope tap trigger, has a flat level swing, consistently made soft contact to his pull side. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
