Dominik Gendreau is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Superior, CO who attends Monarch. Posted a 7.65 in the 60. Primary shortstop is a lean build with room with to fill into it. Showed fundamental base in actions with more to develop as he progresses. Simple approach and process through the play, makes the glove work with an easy arm across. On the mound the right-hander was up to 77 mixing in a breaking ball with 11/5 shape. Generates run on the fastball and maintains arm action well with good feel for the secondary. Compact delivery with some quickness in the high slot delivery played well and repeated. Effective secondary arm with room to grow to on the mound. At the plate the swing is simple from the right side. Easy and mostly fluid process with some loft in the path sprayed contact with use of all fields, impact with continue to develop as strength is added. Good student.
