Nathan Trunck is a 2027 C/RHP with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Carmel Christian. Lean young build. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and has good lower half flexibility, compact arm action with developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield and had athletic actions through the ball and got his glove in good positions, made accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a well balanced and fluid swing, has some hand quickness and swings hard, flashed some mid field lift to his swing. Also pitched, has the catcher's compact arm action and works from a semi-stretch delivery. Gets good run on a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, also threw a short curveball. Good young athlete who will continue to improve with additional strength.
