Aiden Dunlap is a 2027 RHP/SS with a 5-9 157 lb. frame from O'Fallon, IL who attends O'Fallon Township High School. He has a medium frame with a lean, athletic build and plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber. He uses a knee to chest leg kick to start his motion and does a nice job of working down the mound. He utilizes a long, circular arm action that is offline and fires from a 3/4 arm slot. He showed nice looseness in his should that allows his arm to whip at release. He creates nice spin with his fastball and is able to make it tail through the hitting zone, running in on right-handed hitters. He did a nice job of working the pitch to both sides of the plate and was not afraid to attack hitters early in the count. His breaking pitch is a slider with good horizontal break. He can throw it glove side to create swings and misses and is able to land it for a backdoor strike when pitching to his arm side. He was able to keep hitters off balance with this 1-2 punch and showed nice pitch ability during his outing. Secondary short stop that showed advanced actions to both sides of his body. He gets the glove down early and showed nice feel for it, fielding the ball cleanly before transferring it to his throwing hand. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base with high hands and a high back elbow. He coils himself up on the load and creates nice separation before swinging. He is able to create nice whip through the zone with the barrel that allows him to make hard contact when he is on time. He has an up-the-middle approach and utilizes the opposite field gap well. His swing path is slightly uphill and he looks to hit the ball in the air. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
