Dante Maranise is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-4 128 lb. frame from Rancho Murieta, CA who attends Pleasant Grove. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.81 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, proper footwork on the approach and has a solid glove receiving, works to a lower three-quarters lot on release, deliberate tempo, carry and accuracy will continue to develop in actions; similar pace to play in the infield with a lower slot, shows accuracy with on line throws. Also pitched, delivery is clean, consistent and repeatable. He pounded the zone throughout his performance in a quick look, fastball topped out at 66 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins wit ha high back elbow at the plate, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing; subtle lower half incorporated but shows rhythm in hands. Direct path, best when working on a linear path and getting extended out front, shows comfort using all fields. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
