2022 13U/14U Spring Southwest Showcase
Matthew Martin is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-6 160 lb. frame from Maricopa, AZ who attends Heritage Academy. In the infield, he showed decent foot work from his corner profiled build. Secures the ball cleanly and generates some carry on the throws across. At the plate, his stance has his hands high with an even base. The bat path tends to be steep. His approach is geared towards the pull side and found some line drives that way in a decent round of batting practice. Exceptional student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
