Yadiel Olivares is a 2027 OF with a 5-8 180 lb. frame from Trujillo Alto, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. Younger, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran an 8.38 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves well on the approach to the ball, young actions that will continue to refine, shorter arm action on throws, occasionally gets uphill with release, arm strength and carry on throws will keep developing. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate away from body, rotational swing, shows comfort working to pull side. Full swing path through the zone, creates some lift at the point of contact, swings with intent and looks to impact at point of contact.
