Jackson Gonzalez is a 2026 C/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock-Cooper Liberty. Medium frame with a lean and younger build. Ran a 7.59 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, simple and repeatable actions, throws a bit off his back side out of the crouch but accurate to the bag, will improve with added arm strength but good foundation of fundamentals. Also plays infield, clean first step and moves well laterally, under control and sets himself well, good carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, even base and narrow set up, works linear through the zone and stays short as a whole, could extend more to create consistent carry on impact, will improve results with more consistency with the barrel. Good student.
