Ediel Rivera is a 2024 C with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Salinas, PR. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.70 seconds. Hits with hands and back elbow set high, pre-loads hands into bar, lays the barrel back, turns it well out front, shows whip to barrel with above-average bat speed, flashes power and loft pull-side, projects to continue adding power. Worked out behind the plate, has twitch in lower half, will get rushed at times, quick release with well above-average arm strength, clocked up to 88 mph on throws with developing accuracy.
