Leo Weist is a 2025 C/RHP/3B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Franksville, WI who attends Union Grove. Smaller young build with plenty of time and room to get stronger. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has solid athleticism behind the plate and moves well while receiving the ball out front, comes out of his crouch quickly and cleanly, still two-part in his transition to throwing but will keep improving here with repetition and coaching, repeats his actions well and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, loads back from an open stance to start his swing and tends to stay back, long and extended swing, has some hand quickness and got the barrel out front well at times. Also pitched, works from a full windup with a short stride out front, compact arm action. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, showed some feel to spin the ball with a hard curveball with some 11/5 depth.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
