Aidan Lynch is a 2023 C with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Pembroke, MA who attends Rising Tide. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, begins with a lower set up behind the plate, gains short ground with lower half coming out of crouch and implement additional footwork, lower slot on throws to second base, shows some carry but tends to open front side early in release. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and bent knee stance; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Loads hands back at start of swing but remains short from launch, upper body dominant swing with limited shift through lower half. Works to all fields with contact and shows a handle for the barrel, can get more extension out front, works on a linear path with line drive contact coming off.
