Diego Donoso is a 2026 OF/RHP, C with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Troy, TX who attends Troy. Young, sloped shouldered frame with present athleticism and room to fill and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, shows athleticism in actions, tends to stride open with lower half moving into release, longer arm action through the back, can maintain additional momentum through release, showed nice accuracy on throws to home. Behind the plate, starts with a lower set up, gets tall out of crouch, compact arm action, upper body release with limited lower half. Also pitched, clean delivery on the mound and drives well down mound; works to a lower three-quarters release. Topped out at 72 mph, creates running life given the slot, big sweeping break to curveball up to 56 mph and showed a changeup with nice potential moving forward and can continue to implement more often into mix. Right-handed hitter, employs a simple load moving into contact, athletic stance in the box. Swings with intent and has the makings of bat speed, quick launch, occasionally gets mistimed but comes off well when in sync, shows present bat speed through zone.
