Maximus Caron is a 2026 1B/RHP with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Webster, NY who attends Webster-Schroeder. Large, broad shouldered build with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran an 8.32 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball closer to body, extra step moving into release, shows balance on the spin play and a clean funnel, short arm action on throws with accuracy across. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, drop and drive mechanics in lower half following a belt high leg lift; slight coil at top, tends to open front side early, gets to an over-the-top release point and works downhill well and gets down in the zone. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly true through the zone and mixed a curveball up to 63 mph with 11-5 shape when on top, shows some depth through the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance with a tight hand set and utilizes a big leg lift trigger for timing. Shows a present feel for the barrel and squared up the ball consistently in live action to all parts of the field. Incorporates strength well at point of contact, shows best impact strength to pull side, lowers hands moving into contact, heaviness to barrel when squared up. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
