Francisco Aguirre is a 2027 C/SS, OF with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Winnetka, CA who attends Sierra Canyon. Slender build with plenty of room to add more. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.74 seconds. Primary catcher, has a square even base set up, displayed smooth hands with a quick transition gaining ground. Clocked a 2.32 pop time down to second base. Was solid behind the dish, blocked the ball well and showed some athleticism out of the stance. Still developing the arm strength but will come as he gets older. Also worked out in the infield, displayed quick feet with a smooth transition. Moved well to both sides of the ball, still developing the accuracy. Switch hitter, from the right-side, hits from an even base displayed a short handsy swing. From the left-side, hits from an even base as well, displayed a gentle swing with the ability to hit the ball to all fields. Great student.
