Lukas Franco is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 235 lb. frame from Granite Bay, CA who attends Granite Bay. Features a physical build with present strength throughout. At 1B, he gets into good posture setting up low to the ground with his glove working low/out-front early. Used a shorter arm action that made accurate throws with quickness on DPs. Also showed solid footwork around the bag. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance and uses a slight leg lift trigger. Keeps his bat flat to shoulder which allows it to work on a flatter path through which produced several hard LDs to the middle of the field. Noticeably strong hands throw the barrel with adv. bat speed that generates easy pullside power. On the mound, he operates exclusively from the stretch where he drops/tilts his torso/shoulders allowing him to release from a side arm slot. His fastball was up to 70 showing some natural armside run. Mixed in a low 60s slider that flashed some sweeping action to it. Threw two shutout innings. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
