Asher Matthews is a 2028 3B/RHP, 2B, OF, UT with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Woodstock. Small, youthful frame that will grow plenty given the current age. Ran a 7.98 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, late glove presentation, second base profile as of right now, works hard laterally, developing feel for the backhand, handled more ground well given size. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup, compart arm action to high three-quarters slot, some side spin on the ball, fastball heavy diet, developing mechanics. Took reps in the outfield, developing arm strength overall for this spot right now, working to get feel for it right now. Right-handed hitter, linear swing, hands start at letter and load back, strength really benefits this overall, solid contact driven swing, good fundamental base here to build on. Solid overall mechanics given size and age, will progress naturally over time.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
