Angel Delgado is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Lutz, FL who attends Sunlake. Medium, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build, lots of room to fill throughout moving forward. ran a 7.00 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves through the ball well and shows nice aggressiveness in actions, shorter release and tight from ear, shows nice present carry to throws with accuracy to the intended base. Also pitched, repeats delivery well on the mound, simple kick at start, sinks into backside well and drive with rhythm down the mound. Works to a high three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly true in life, pitched to contact throughout; curveball is best pitch at present, shows depth to it with signs of tight spin at 64 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and open stance at the plate; barrel wrap at start, keeps hands inside the ball throughout path. Put a nice swing on the ball in live action, going the other way with outer half pitch for a double, stays shorter to the ball, full path through finish with some quickness to hands. Has some timing components to mechanics, contact oriented approach.
