Ryan Cook is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Evergreen, CO who attends Evergreen. Cook looks the part of a primary RHP, working from the full windup with quiet controlled movements and a deep in-line arm path that saw velocity touch 84 mph on the FB with heaviness. He released from a high 3/4 slot, effectively flashing a 3 pitch mix that included both a CB and CH with unique movement. From the IF, Cook displayed active footwork with sound mechanics as well as the ability to change slots on the run, topping out at 81 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open stance with a low back elbow and toe tap trigger producing consistent pull side impact. He settled into his round well, posting an exit velo of 80 mph. Ran a 7.45 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
