Brayden Schwantz is a 2028 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Daniel Island, SC. Tall, lean build with room to add strength. 8.31 runner in the 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from the stretch only and starts in the middle of the rubber. Higher leg lift right above the belt, slight turn as he reaches the top of the lift, hides the ball in the delivery, medium arm swing in the back to a three-quarters release point. Works directly to the dish with clean, athletic delivery. Fastball had some late life in the zone, up to 71 mph (1851 RPM) and also mixed a curveball with 11-5 shape in the low-60s (1735 RPM). Right-handed hitter with a wide base and a closed front side in the stance. Gets the front foot down early in the load, doesn't engage the lower half much, showed good barrel awareness in the round and impacted to the middle of the field. Will see some more power as he starts using his legs more. Also worked out in the infield and showed athletic actions. Limited range to both sides, gets the glove down late, recorded throws up to 66 mph. Projectable player in all phases as he continues to add strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
