Gabriel Blanco is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Blainville, QC who attends Lucille-Teasdale. Large frame with athletic, strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.77 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, crossfire stride downhill, creates good hip/arm separation, good arm speed to 3/4 slot release, fastball worked 77-79 mph with carry, good feel to spin curveball, projects as a real bat-misser with sharp two-plane bite. Projects really well on the mound. Hits from upright and narrow stance, generates good leverage when on time, tends to work uppercut, has power pull-side, power really projects as he matures. Very good student, named to 2022 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
