Gavin Guy is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B, SS, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Newport Harbor. Tall, lean build with good length that can continue to fill out as he physically matures. Ran a 7.67 in the 60-yard dash. Infielder, solid plays on the backhand and fields it well. Shows the pocket early with quick lateral range. Right-handed pitcher, shorter arm action from a three-quarter slot that works down the slope consistently. Fastball reached high-70s with late life and showed feel for his secondaries in a subtle biting slider and fading changeup. Right-handed hitter, upright and narrow base with toe tap load. Works the barrel out front with strong hands. Solid backside drive and strength in the path stands out for the age.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
