Maximus Polun is a 2023 LHP/ with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Forest Hill, MD who attends Calvert Hall College HS. Medium, slender build with room to fill throughout his broad-shouldered frame. 7.68-second runner during the sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher, works from a full wind up with a belt-high leg lift. Full arm circle from a higher 3/4 arm slot. Pitched to contact during live action, works fastball around the zone. Low-70s with more left in the tank as he adds strength and incorporates his lower half more. Good feel for his curveball that showcased 11-5 shape with depth, throwing it early and often in counts with confidence. Secondary outfielder, fields off to the side with a longer arm action. Accurate throws to the plate with developing footwork and arm strength, up to 72 mph. Left-handed hitter, sets up with an even, narrow stance with a low-hand set. Toe-tap-trigger into a rotational lower half. Middle-of-the-field approach flashing some line-drive impact during round of BP. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
