Andrew Duran is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Boulder Creek. Medium, slender build with plenty of room to add more muscle as he gets older. Primary infielder, worked through the ball well, has a tendency to let the ball come, moved well laterally with a quick transition. Was comfortable throwing from different arm slots, consistently made accurate throws. From the mound, throws from a three-quarter arm slot, pounded the zone and located well. The fastball sat 70-72 mph, had good command of the fastball, will continue to develop and get better as he gets older. At the plate, switch hitter hits from a narrow upright slightly open stance, generated soft ground ball contact to his pull side. Excellent student.
