Hunter Radze is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from White Lake, MI, who attends Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep. A medium frame with a slender build. Higher set waist. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. A primary left-handed pitcher who had a shorter arm swing working into a low three-quarters arm slot. Used a side step into a belt-high leg lift. Drove down the slope well, staying direct to the plate with a bit of a cross-body look to it. He mixed his pitches well and was able to locate to craft a solid outing during live at-bats. His fastball was up to 80 mph and spun up to 2,046 RPMs. Had a slider that worked a 69 mph while spinning up to 2,219 RPMs. Also showed a changeup that he was able to kill spin on down to 1,739 RPMs, which was at 69 mph. A left-handed hitter who gets the weight back n his back foot with a slightly open stance working into his leg lift. Had a smooth move forward with the hands working to the ball on a direct path. Had some hand speed. Produced some solid contact to the opposite-field gap and was able to work to the middle of the field as well during his round of BP. Had some strength showing with the ability to impact it well. Good feel for the barrel throughout the round. Produced an 80 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Worked out as an outfielder, working to it aggressively with choppy steps as he approaches. He gets low to field it with one hand, working quick to the glove to transfer. His throws came out at 81 mph with a lower flight on them. Threw from a lower slot and stayed in control of his actions throughout the round. Also worked out as a first baseman, fielding the ball up the middle with two hands. Had a good feel for the bag with firm throws across the infield at 77 mph that were accurate. Good feeds to second as well. Great student. Named to 2023 Michigan Indoor Showcase TP List.
