2023 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jacob Greer is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Lake St. Louis, MO, who attends Liberty. A bigger frame with a medium build. Has some strength and athleticism showing. Ran a 7.11 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with quick feet gaining ground through the throws. Quick transfer as he works into release with firm throws down to second base. Had a side setup with a clean exchange to throw 76 mph down to second with a 1.93 pop time. Also worked out as an infielder with good movements laterally and fluid glove actions. Worked direct to it with some rhythm to his actions. Showed a clean exchange as well. Throws came out firm at 85 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with very high-set hands and the back elbow up. Gets the weight back in a wider base. Works extremely quickly through the zone with some bat speed. Had good impact off the barrel, showing the ability to lift as well. Rotates through contact and is able to leverage the ball, using the bat speed to his advantage during his round of BP swings. Shorter swing with tools that produced a solid round. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Great student. Named to the 2023 National Indoor (Saturday) Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
