Hudson Howell is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 120 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Atlantic Shores Christian. Medium frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.39 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, quick first step taking clean routes into the baseballs. Gathers to the side while carrying momentum to target. Smooth arm stroke with accuracy. Up to 71 mph during drills. Secondary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Lifts to the belt before driving down the hill. Medium arm swing to a three-quarter slot release. Worked in the zone with a two pitch mix. Fastball up to 68 mph and breaking ball with slurvy actions in the low-60's. Right-Handed Hitter, even base with a bent knee stance. Low back elbow. Short stride out proving to have rhythm in the hands while creating separation. Linear cut while firing the bat head through. Squared it up in game as well. Will make strides with strength gain. Named to 13u/14u Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
