Alden Foster is a 2024 SS/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Catalina Foothills. Medium build with a projectable body. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Primary infielder, showed some athleticism, moved well laterally. Displayed a quick first step with good footwork and a quick transition. Worked through the ball with smooth hands, made the back hand look easy. Was clocked up to 80 mph onthrows across the infield. At the plate, hits from a wide slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger. The hands sit even with the shoulder, bat starts flat with a small load. Has a level swing, consistently made weak contact to his pull side. He will continue to get stronger as he gets older. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
