Lucus Gabriel is a 2024 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-8 151 lb. frame from Juniata, NE who attends Adams Central Jr-Sr. Medium, compact frame with time to fill out and mature physically. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.12 seconds. Primary infielder, worked through the ball with stiff hands, has a tendency to let the ball come. Displayed good footwork with a quick transition, was clocked up to 71 mph on throws across the diamond. From the mound, throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, worked quickly, threw a lot of strikes and attacked early. The fastball sat 68-72 mph with good command, paired with a curveball that sat 64 mph with slight depth. At the plate, hits from a wide slightly open stance with a regular stride, the hands slightly load back with a flat barrel. Has a level swing that goes in and out of the zone quick generating soft line drives to his pull side. Excellent student.
