Kupono Barkdull is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Kaneohe, HI who attends Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Ca. The word that comes to mind with Kupono is projectable. Standing at 6’2 and not done growing, Kupono has the makeup to dominate from the left side. On the mound his mechanics are smooth with great down hill tilt. He has the ability to throw multiple pitches for strikes and has a lot more left in the tank. Offensively when he runs in to a ball it goes a long way. At first base he has excellent hands and will become even better as he matures into his body. Power 5 talent with a possible draft call in 2027.
