Nick Fumich is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Lima, OH who attends Culver Military Academy. Features a lean build with strength present. Ran a 7.37 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman. Footwork and range profiles well for the corner spot. Caught the ball consistently throughout defensive workouts. Was accurate on a majority of throws with solid arm strength behind them. Threw 78 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a crouched lower half. Has a slight coil during pre-pitch load. Displayed loose hands through the zone. Found the barrel on a fairly regular basis. Has the ability to catch the ball out front. Projectable frame hints toward more power down the line. Also threw on the mound. Righthanded pitcher. Utilizes a big side step delivery into a belt high leg kick. Lands on-line using a long stride down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a long arm action. The fastball sat 73-76 mph on a level plane. Was around the zone consistently with the pitch. Paired the fastball with two different breaking balls. The curveball sat in the mid-60’s with consistent 11-5 action. The slider sat in the upper-60’s with late, horizontal action. Still developing the consistency of both pitches. The ability to throw strikes consistently and projectable frame makes for an intriguing upside on the mound. Very good student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
