Hits from open stance, long stride that closes off front side, length to stroke with inside-out swing path, intent is to work to opposite field, soft front side with minimal leverage creation, recorded exit velocity of 74 mph off a tee. Worked out in the outfield, fields off to side while working through the ball, developing feel for glove work and maintaining momentum, several steps into release, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Good student.
