LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Max Guenther is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Weldon Spring, MO, who attends Francis Howell. A medium frame with athleticism. Ran a 6.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with athletic actions and some bouncy feet. Had a quick release with good throws on a good flight with carry. Had athletic actions with the glove, fielding one-handed as he worked into the throws. Had a full arm swing with throws coming out at 85 mph. Twitchy actions with direct paths taken to the ball. A right-handed hitter with higher set hands and a high back elbow. His hands get deep in the load, and he coils up a bit. Was able to loft the ball a bit with good bat speed through the zone. Had some well-struck balls to the pull-side and pull-side gap part of the cage. Wanted to pull and was able to do so, getting the hands & barrel out front to meet it. Had good turns as he rotated through contact with a leg lift trigger working into his stride. Produced 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech Testing. Good student. Named to 2023 National Indoor (Saturday) Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
