Liam Heasley is a 2027 SS/RHP, C, 2B, MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Norco, CA who attends Norco. Features a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Present glove early during approach in the outfield. Showcased a strong arm using a quick arm action. Reached 78 mph during workouts. Flashed the ability to move well laterally on the dirt. Still developing consistent glove actions. Was accurate with most throws. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a traditional, balanced set up with a big leg lift timing mechanism. Swings on a linear path. Has solid bat speed present with the ability to find the barrel. Approach works well to the opposite field. Right-handed pitcher. Uses a semi-windup delivery into a drop and drive mechanics down the mound. Ads some deception with torso twist at the top of the leg lift. Throws with plenty of intent out of a high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 72-75 mph on a slight downhill plane. Goes right at hitters with the offering. Pairs it with a curveball at 61-64 mph showing short, downward action. Still developing consistent bite on the offering. Pitch mix and strike throwing ability can produce quick outs. Very good student.
