2023 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Dylan Langstaff is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County. Lean, athletic looking build with lots of room to add onto an already nicely sized frame for the class. Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, solid arm across at 82-mph with accuracy and effortless feel, hands work nicely out front with balanced, coordinated footwork, looked comfortable on the turn, has the size and actions to stick there long term. Secondary left-handed pitcher, present athleticism to the operation, stretch only delivery with low effort output, pause at the top of the leg kick, cuts the fastball and mixes in a mid 60's curveball with nice shape to it, extended three-quarters slot. Took reps in the outfield, similar athleticism here, works through it nicely, footwork is coordinated, smooth process and comes through a lower slot. Right-handed hitter, wider even base with high hands and a high back elbow, hands stay still after the trigger, no separation, less lower half engagement, heel lift with no stride, mixed in medium leg kick, some barrels in the round. Homerun in game action with nothing but barrels all over, great body and two way upside to project on. Named to the 2023 13U/14U Sunshine Rocky Mountain Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
