Cashton Jones is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends James Madison Memorial. Medium frame with a stocky type build. Ran a 8.06 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a belt high lift. Strides out as he lands closed off a bit. Higher slot release as he stays upright in the delivery. Lived around the zone as he topped out at 78 mph with the fastball. Mixed in a vertical breaking ball in the mid-60's. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he looks to keep it in front of him. Gathers out front before working into extra steps before release. Was accurate with throws as he was up to 75 mph across the diamond. Right-Handed Hitter, narrow and in line to start. High hands behind the ear as he works into load. Top hand dominant cut as he stays linear through the zone. Looked to drive the baseball to all fields. Good Student.
