Alexander Schoepp is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Verona, WI who attends Edgewood. Recorded a 7.51 sixty yard dash time. Medium build that projects. Primary shortstop, smooth and twitchy with long strides and has range. Has feel for hips lower half flashes well. Glove plays well. Accuracy on arm. Also threw an inning on the mound. The delivery is rhythmic with medium arm stroke and max effort release from the three-quarters slot. The fastball plays straight with occasional cut and he had success forcing weak contact in the zone with it. Curveball is round with some depth to it. Right-handed hitter, starts with a medium base and an inverted front foot. Shorter swing. Developing feel for getting the barrel out in front. Flashed solid contact. Exciting young player with upside. Good student. Named to the 2023 Midwest Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
