2023 14U Texas All-State Games
Zaylon Warren is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Elkhart, TX who attends Palestine High School. Wiry young athletic build. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, is light on his feet and shows quickness in all directions, athletic and balanced coming through the ball, arm works well and changes his slot well, stands out defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a short rock back load, gets to his front side well and fires his hips hard, loose swing with separation, creates bat speed with good barrel control, consistent hard line drive contact. Also pitched, has some drop and drive to the plate with a full arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot, works down the mound well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, maintained his arm speed well on his curveball and snapped off some sharp ones. Good student. Named to the 14U Texas All-State Games Top Prospect List.
