Luke Gamble is a 2027 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Odenton, MD who attends Arundel. Slender young build. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive to the ball with a quick first step, big crow hop into his throwing action, gets on top of his throws and creates some accurate carry. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a hanging leg raise load, high hands to start his swing with a barrel tilt load, gets into his hips well and swings hard, middle of the field contact with occasional lift, has some projection in his swing and overall approach. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a high energy delivery, tends to fall off to the first base side and not stay behind the ball. Fastball topped out at 74 mph to go with a soft curveball. Good athlete who will keep getting batter as he adds strength, appreciate his aggressiveness. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
