Joseph Kelly is a 2026 3B/RHP, MIF, OF, UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Evanston, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Features a lean, medium build with strength present. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and on the infield. Displayed sound actions in the outfield with the ability to make the routine play. Fields the ball out front with momentum through the catchpoint. Throws with intent, reaching 80 mph during workouts. Showed sound actions on the dirt as well. Range profiles best for a corner spot. Still developing fluid actions throughout. Arm strength played on throws across. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with a high hand setup. Swings with plenty of intent. Showcases good bat speed through the zone with extension out front. Can produce hard hit contact when in-sync. Launched a long homerun during in-game action. More power should come as barrel accuracy is refined. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes lower half well down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slow with a repeatable arm action. Fastball worked up to 80 mph with armside run. Showed confidence in both a low-60’s curveball and mid-60’s slider, throwing both early in counts. Can mix all three pitches well. Very good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
