Eli Tuinstra is a 2023 1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends Madison East. Big and strong physical build. Right handed hitter, starts from a very narrow stance with a very busy hand load, long gated stride into contact, lots going on pre-swing that can be simplified for more consistent timing, takes a big swing with extension and some strength behind it, power approach. 7.56 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, presents a good target for throws and has good speed and agility for the position. Good student.
