Norman Cherrett is a 2025 3B/RHP, SS with a 5-9 176 lb. frame from Grand Beach, MI who attends La Lumiere School. Features a medium build with some strength present. Has athleticism present. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Worked out on the infield and in the outfield. Utilizes an aggressive approach in the outfield. Still refining footwork through the catch point. High effort throws produced a fair amount of carry. Threw 82 mph. Athleticism played on the dirt. Solid hands caught the ball well. Range and footwork profile well at third base. Short arm action produces a fair amount of arm strength. Threw 80 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a low hand setup. Timing mechanism features barrel hitch. Swings with good intent while maintaining a still head. Flashed some bat speed on a slight uppercut path. Strength helps produce fair power to the pullside. Showed feel for the barrel during game action. Also threw as righthanded pitcher. Displays good rhythm and direction down the mound. Medium arm action hides the ball fairly well. Repeats low effort delivery well. The fastball sat 70-74 mph with some heaviness on the inner half. Showed the ability to command the offering down in the zone. Paired it with a quality slider that sat in the low-60’s. The offering showed good bite late in the zone. It has the potential to become a swing and miss pitch down the line. Overall, has intriguing potential on the mound with time to develop further. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
