Jalen Josey is a 2026 RHP/3B, SS with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from North Baldwin, NY who attends Holy Trinity. Medium, athletic frame with a high waist and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full windup on the mound with a leg lift up above belt; long and deep arm swing through the backside working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, showed short running life to arm side and remains on line towards the plate with delivery. Deliberate pace to operation and repeats well, able to induce ground ball contact with a fastball/curveball mix; spun it up to 63 mph with feel for the pitch in the zone. Fields the ball out front in the infield and stays low in actions, tends to open front shoulder early at release and works uphill, accurate throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and balanced set up at the plate with a high hand set. Looseness and whip to hands in swing, longer path through the zone and works on a linear plane. Limited shift through lower half, projects with added strength, occasionally gets downward with path, showed comfort working to the middle of the field on a line when squared.
