2023 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Angel Z Medina is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends Harmony. Big broad shouldered young build, looks stronger than listed, projects very well physically. Switch-hitter at the plate, shows better present feel and bat speed left handed, starts from an inverted foot load and gets turned, fires his hands well and creates some bat speed and barrel whip with more to come, less connected and aggressive with the barrel right handed. 7.12 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has active feet moving to the ball, short and quick arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, has some carry to his throws for his age. Should be solid for third base in the future. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
