Teddy Shaw is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Fieldston. Works from a medium compact frame with some room to fill. Primary first baseman, displayed choppy footwork as he worked through the baseball with decent glove actions, arm action is a little stiff, utilizes a shorter arm stroke, delivered fairly accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 74 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up, utilizes a simple stride to the point of contact and gets the foot down early, gets a bit rotational at times, attempts to create leverage, produced liners to the middle of the field when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 7.58 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
