Ralph Burrows is a 2028 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-2 84 lb. frame from Nassau, NW who attends . Recorded a 8.98 second sixty-yard dash time. Smaller frame with plenty of time and room to physically mature. Primary left-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch. Incorporates belt high leg loft into balance and a shorter stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 50s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 60 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of the strike zone that will continue to improve as he continues to mature. Secondary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Fields out in front with two hands, uses deliberate slight waist bend to field and displayed deliberate foot work on his turns to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 52 mph across the diamond. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he flashed similar developing defensive skill set. Incorporates aggressive actions into the fielding process, fielding properly off his front foot and works through release. Recorded arm strength up to 56 mph during outfield drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, closed stance with a high, tight hand set and a toe-tap trigger for timing. Developing bat-to-ball skills with downhill swing path. Will continue to improve with additional strength, time and proper swing adjustments.
