Dylan Carlson is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Edgeley, ND who attends Edgeley. Slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Primary middle infielder, moved well laterally, fielded the ball cleanly, showed the ability to make the routine plays. Comfortable throwing from a lower arm angle, still working on the accuracy. Showed good footwork with a quick transition. At the plate, Switch hitter, showed good rhythm to his swings starting with an even base and creating slight separation pre swing with his hand load. Does a nice job getting the lower half involved in the swing creating his power form the ground up with developing bat speed through the zone that will get better with added strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
